What does "S.A.V.E." cycling stand for?
"S.A.V.E." is an acronym that we came up with to share our vision for cycling. The acronym is defined below and describes how we envision cycling as we roll into the future. It also describes how have contributed to, and plan to contribute to, making the vision a reality.
Sustainability
W e can make cycling SUSTAINABLE by re-cycling bikes and parts, discarding only what is really unuseable.
Doing this introduces more quality used parts and bikes into circulation, and reduces the number of imported parts neccessary.
SUSTAINABLE cycling not only means responsible reusing, but also responsible recycling!
By ensuring that frames, parts and tires/tubes get to the proper depots, we can keep the re-use cycle spinning properly.
To the right you will see a photo of some tires we dropped off at Annacis Island to be converted into road fill!
SUSTAINABLE cycling keeps you, you kids, your grandkids, your grandkids' kids, your grandkids' kids' kids and the earth happy and clean!
Affordability
AFFORDABLE cycling means keeping costs down by limiting imported cycles, which incur extra shipping, production and manufacturing costs when compared to domestic cycles.
More AFFORDABILITY means more availability!
AFFORDABILITY makes cycling an easy decision, and keeps bikes out of landfills by making repairs easy. If parts, are available and affordable, why not repair your bike? A large part of repair costs can be parts, and we can reduce that. More available and AFFORDABLE parts makes biking better for the community and environment.
AFFORDABILITY makes room for charitability and support.
We like to help out where we can and brighten up someone's day, or maybe even week! AFFORDABLE cycling creates availability for those who might go without.

VARIETY in cycling is for expression, quality, and style. Everyone wants to style and express themselves, Why not do it with your bicycle?
Many mass-manufactured cycles restrict VARIETY, style, and quality to keep cost down. Being sustainable and affordable, means we can be stylish and stay lively with our cycles.
VARIETY in cycling means complimenting eachother, customizing our rides and cruising around town in style.
We offer a VARIETY of parts in different colours, brands, styles, ages and qualities to suit VARIOUS needs.

Excitement!
We want cycling to be EXCITING.
EXCITEMENT is the result of cycling which is sustainable, affordable and varied.
Cycling gives us a reason to get outside and have some fun! Feel the wind in our face, get some Exercise and some Endorphins. It is Enjoyable and Energizing.
Whats not to be Excited about?
Exciting is the feeling of finding a piece you've been hunting down for a long time. Or finding a piece that makes your bike customized and YOURS. Exciting is also the feeling of getting your cycle back on the road after finding the parts you needed to make a neccessary repair.
We want to share in the excitement and help you get cycling in a clean, green, affordable way! One way we do this is by giving away many bikes and cycling supplies FREE for children.
